The studio is owned and directed by Jaana Lillemagi. Her dancing career started at an early age of six in Estonia where she became a two-time national champion in the International Styles. In the United States, she focused on the American Styles earning respectable titles including Finalist in the U.S. National Professional American Style 9 Dance Championships (2010) and 1st place in the Ohio Star Ball Rising Star Rhythm (2009).
Even though Jaana has a B.A. and M.A. in Economics, her passion for dancing has become her full-time career in teaching, training and performing.
Seiko’s dance journey started at My Dance Hub Naperville in 2014. Her first competition was the Starlite Ball. Since then her interest in dance has grown beyond the competitive ballroom dances to include social dances such as Salsa, Bachata, Zouk and Kizomba. She has not only competed but has also performed showcase dances at My Dance Hub and beyond. Seiko’s passion is growing dancers and dance communities, which is why she jumped at the opportunity to work at My Dance Hub.
Pavel Lebedev is originally from Riga Latvia where he started dancing in studio “Auseklitis” at an age of 4. In Moscow, he studied in “Russian State University of Sport” in the specialization of “Dance coach”. For the past 12 years, he lived in Montreal Canada, becoming Vice-Champion on Canada in International Ballroom style. As a top Canadian dancer, he was invited to represent the country in the world championships in England, Russia as well as in Asian Pacific Championship in Japan. This year, with his professional partner Dinara Khayrulina, also a member of My Dance Hub team, Pavel became a Canadian Champion in American Smooth style.
Vlad started ballroom dancing at age 4 in both Latin and Ballroom styles in Ukraine where he became the 10 Dance youth Ukrainian Champion. After moving to the United States, he fell in love with the American Smooth style of dance and together with his professional partner Brianna they made the Professional Rising Star Smooth final at the prestigious Ohio Star Ball in 2018. Vlad specializes in all four styles: Smooth, Rhythm, Latin and Ballroom. He is passionate about teaching and working hard with his students to achieve their goals.
Anne was born in Kolding Denmark and started dancing when she was 3 years old. At first, it was a fun hobby, but she quickly developed a passion for dancing and she entered her first competition at 9 years old and knew that she belonged on the dance floor.
Anne went to a boarding school specializing in dance and performing arts. She was one of their lead dancers, and she was 1st and assistant Choreographer in a number of the school’s production.
At 16 she won the Danish Championship in the 10 dance category. At 19 she moved to Copenhagen and joined the International Dance Academy based out of Copenhagen and Los Angles. She trained in all styles and received an Honors certificate when graduating. In Los Angles, she trained studio city and worked with some of the best dancers and performers. She trained with the choreographer of Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande amongst others.
Anne’s passion lies in the art of dancing. Her favorite thing is to help students achieve things that they never thought possible, whether through a performance or a competition. Her favorite dance partner is her husband, Josh, who she competed professionally with in the Rhythm division.”
Iegor Likhachov is originally from the Ukraine, where he started dancing when he was 4 years old. In his 24 years of dancing, he has achieved success for both himself and his students. As a competitor, Iegor is a recurring finalist in some of the biggest World Championships as well as 5x 10-Dance Ukraine Nationals champion, a 2x European champion in the Standard program and the vice-champion at 10 Dance of UK Frimley Green. His students include World Champions in the juvenile standard program and youth couples who placed in the top 3 at World 10-Dance Championships. He has also been a national champion with his students in the Pro-Am category in various styles.
Brianna started ballroom dancing at age 8 and originally trained in Latin dances. Among many accomplishments, she ultimately became U.S. 9 dance, rhythm, and smooth Pro/Am champion and was invited to Dance at the 2015 Dance Legends show in New York. After turning professional, she and her dance partner Vlad made the Professional Rising Star Smooth final at the prestigious Ohio Star Ball in 2018. As a sought after teacher, Brianna specializes in all four styles: Smooth, Rhythm, Latin and Ballroom. Brianna is passionate about teaching and loves to see her students grow.
