Dinara Khayrulina is originally from St.Petersburg, Russia , where she started her dance journey at the age of 10. After successful junior and amateur career she continued her professional teaching and competing in United States. Dinara has a 5 year degree in financial management but chose to make dancing her full time career and a lifetime passion. She competed professionally in 3 styles, including International Latin, American Smooth and American Rhythm , becoming Florida Superstars Rising Star Latin champion , Eastern Open 9 dance champion and finalist in all major events. Currently, with her dance partner Pavel Lebedev she is a Canadian National Champion in American Smooth.
Seiko’s dance journey started at My Dance Hub Naperville in 2014. Her first competition was the Starlite Ball. Since then her interest in dance has grown beyond the competitive ballroom dances to include social dances such as Salsa, Bachata, Zouk and Kizomba. She has not only competed but has also performed showcase dances at My Dance Hub and beyond. Seiko’s passion is growing dancers and dance communities, which is why she jumped at the opportunity to work at My Dance Hub.
Pavel Lebedev is originally form Riga Latvia where he started dancing in studio “Auseklitis” at an age of 4. In Moscow he studied in “Russian State University of Sport” in specialization of “Dance coach”. For the past 12 years he lived in Montreal Canada, becoming Vice Champion on Canada in International Ballroom style. As a top Canadian dancer he was invited to represent the country in the world championships in England, Russia as well as in Asian Pacific Championship in Japan. This year, with his professional partner Dinara Khayrulina, also a member of My Dance Hub team, Pavel become a Canadian Champion in American Smooth style.
Dancing has always been an integral part of Isabel’s life. She was introduced to the art at a young age, and quickly fell in love. She studied ballet, hip-hop & Jazz, eventually focusing on the performance aspect of dancing. While at Columbia College, she was introduced to ballroom dancing. It was a whole new world, in which all of the dance elements she had studied, came together. The passion, the technique, and the audience/performer interaction. Immediately she knew this was her calling. Teaching has been the most rewarding experience of her dance career. Watching students’ lives transform thru dancing, is what keeps her motivated. After taking a break, and pursuing a career in finances, Isabel is back with more passion and dedication!
Vlad started ballroom dancing at age 4 in both Latin and Ballroom styles in Ukraine where he became the 10 Dance youth Ukrainian Champion. After moving to the United states, he fell in love with the American Smooth style of dance and together with his professional partner Brianna they made the Professional Rising Star Smooth final at the prestigious Ohio Star Ball in 2018. Vlad specializes in all four styles: Smooth, Rhythm, Latin and Ballroom. He is passionate about teaching and working hard with his students to achieve their goals.
Brianna started ballroom dancing at age 8 and originally trained in Latin dances.
Among many accomplishments she ultimately became U.S. 9 dance, rhythm, and smooth Pro/Am champion and was invited to Dance at the 2015 Dance Legends show in New York. After turning professional, she and her dance partner Vlad made the Professional Rising Star Smooth final at the prestigious Ohio Star Ball in 2018. As a sought after teacher, Brianna specializes in all four styles: Smooth, Rhythm, Latin and Ballroom. Brianna is passionate about teaching and loves to see her students grow.
The studio is owned and directed by Jaana Lillemagi. Her dancing career started at an early age of six in Estonia where she became a two-time national champion in the International Styles. In the United States she focused on the American Styles earning respectable titles including Finalist in the U.S. National Professional American Style 9 Dance Championships (2010) and 1st place in the Ohio Star Ball Rising Star Rhythm (2009).
Even though Jaana has a B.A. and M.A. in Economics, her passion for dancing has become her full-time career in teaching, training and performing.
Jaana and her team of instructors are very excited to give back to the Naperville/Aurora area some of what the world of dance has given them over the years.
Nick is another of My Dance Hub’s talented instructors and competitors. Originally from the Naperville area, Nick is happy to be doing what he loves close to home. Upon pursuing a career in physical therapy he stumbled across ballroom dance.
Originally a hip hop dancer, he made the change and has flourished as an entertaining and charismatic instructor. Nick loves salsa, which is why he is our Tuesday night Salsa group class instructor, but don’t be fooled.
Nick’s knowledge surpasses the salsa syllabus. Nick is DVIDA certified and is fluent in all dance styles.
Caleb, originally from Indiana, started teaching ballroom dance in 2006. Prior to teaching he was a competitive cheerleader and coach, an experience that helped him transition into ballroom.
Caleb is knowledgeable in all four dance styles: Latin, Standard, Rhythm and Smooth. Not only is Caleb a certified instructor but also an experienced rhythm and smooth competitor. Along with choreographing routines, he helps our ladies with their competition hair styles and costume design. With his sense of style, elegance and movement, Caleb is a strong member of the MDH team.
Paulina is one of our most vivacious dance instructors. Though Paulina was born in the U.S., she did not start her ballroom training here. It was in Poland where Paulina first started dancing at the age of 8.
She gained experience through various ballroom camps and competitions, and has now studied dance in Poland, Australia and the U.S. After high school, Paulina decided to return to the U.S. to complete her bachelors of science in Neuroscience. She received her degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, along with a minor in kinesiology.
Prior to joining MDH, Paulina cofounded a sporting business in Joliet. She is now a full time instructor who loves challenging herself and her students. It is her goal to motivate her students to be their very best.
