Group classes are an excellent way to start learning social and Latin dancing, to supplement your private lessons, or to concentrate on dancing with a diverse group of amateur partners. We offer classes structured specifically for beginner and intermediate. We teach 15 different dances in our group sessions, and they rotate. All group dance classes last for 40 minutes; no partners are required.
Tuition for group classes is $20 per class or $150 for 10 group classes. For students who take once a week private lessons with us, we offer complimentary group classes. This does not include Saturday Cardio group classes and Workshops.
We always recommend that you take a handful of private lessons before joining group classes. The introductory package of one private lesson and one group classes ($45 for a single or for a couple) offers brand new students the best way to get to know our studio, instructors, and services. This group class will be held at our Naperville location. One of our most popular classes, this class is for any level dancer. We start each class with a new move and end with a review of the previous pattern. With our gentlemen on one side and the ladies on the other, we go step by step and then put it all together with popular salsa music. This class is moderately paced to keep the fun going, so if you have not danced before please take advantage of our Introductory Package. 40 Minutes. No partner required.
This group class will be held at our Oakbrook studio. This class is geared toward newer dancers. We teach bronze level patterns with a focus on foot placement, posture and frame. Each month starts a new dance, so our dancers get an introduction to many different dance styles. If you have not danced before we recommend starting with our Introductory Package. 40 Minutes. This group class will be held at our Naperville studio. Our ballroom cardio classes are all about creating a fun and effective workout. All moves are carefully picked and designed to keep your heart rate up and burn calories while you dance your way into your dream body. Steps are easy to follow, and routines are kept pretty simple while stepping up the intensity with hops and turns. The ballroom cardio moves revolve around several styles of dances such as cha cha, rumba, salsa, samba, swing, quickstep, bolero and merengue. A 40-minute workout includes a warm-up before we start and stretches after the workout.
