The studio is owned and directed by Jaana Lillemagi. Her dancing career started at an early age of six in Estonia where she became a two-time national champion in the International Styles. In the United States, she focused on the American Styles earning respectable titles including Finalist in the U.S. National Professional American Style 9 Dance Championships (2010) and 1st place in the Ohio Star Ball Rising Star Rhythm (2009).
Even though Jaana has a B.A. and M.A. in Economics, her passion for dancing has become her full-time career in teaching, training and performing.
Jaana and her team of instructors are very excited to give back to the Aurora/ Naperville area some of what the world of dance has given them over the years.
Stefan Ciubotaru was born in Moldova where he started his dance journey at the age of six. He began ballroom dancing in one of the largest dance studios in Europe – Codreanca. Thoughout his career he became five times Moldavian champion in Latin and Standard, two times 10-dance National Champion , World and European Champion formation Standard with his team from Codreanca, Silver medalist at the 10-dance European Championship, two times Belgium 10-dance champion and Winner of Moldova Dancing with the stars TV show as well as Dancing With The Stars Romania ending in the top 4.
Stefan has been teaching in the United States since 2015 where he has developed numerous champions. He loves sharing his knowledge with each and everyone one of his students. Stefan strives to share his love of dancing with everyone and anyone he comes in contact with.
Brittany Bleggi was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio where she began dancing at the age of three. Brittany has over twenty five years of training, as well as over 10 years of professional teaching and choreographing experience. After a start in jazz and ballet, she has studied many forms of dance including modern, contemporary, tap, hip hop, American smooth, American rhythm, International standard and International Latin. Brittany is currently a professional pro-am ballroom competitor, choreographer, instructor, and Co owner at My Dance Hub in Oakbrook and Naperville, Illinois. Brittany’s students have achieved the highest results in pro/am dancing throughout the United States. A few of her titles include Closed Smooth Champion, Open rhythm finalist, Fred Astaire National Cabaret finalist, Fred Astaire Illinois Smooth, rhythm, cabaret and mixed novice Champion. Brittany loves being able to share the gift of dance with others and help them to discover how dance can positively affect them mentally, physically, emotionally and socially.
Meg has been dancing since age 6 with a passion for hip hop & jazz. She has 13+ years of ballroom training; American Rhythm, American Smooth, International Latin, International Standard and social styles.
Meg is most proud of her 10 time Pro-Am Show-dance titles and each of the students who hold Champion status! As a professional she has placed Nationally as a top Fred Astaire American Rhythm and American Smooth finalist.
Meg’s favorite thing is learning every student’s story and bringing out the best in them. Laughter is key in her day to day routine!
Artem Lazarev is from the Ukraine and has been dancing since he was 12 years old. Since then he has been the 9X Ukrainian Latin champion, 3X Ukrainian Standard champion; 2X Ukrainian 10-Dance champion. He was also the European Cup winner in Latin and ranked as high as 13th on the world rankings. He moved to the USA in 2015, and other than dancing loves to sing, act and workout. He enjoys learning about nutrition in general and LOVES sushi in particular.
Josh was born in Puerto Rico, where he grew up dancing various Latin dances, with friends and family, and loved it. When he moved to NY he fell even more in love with dance and continued to develop his dancing. Josh has been competing in both Rhythm & Theater Arts where’s he’s placed in both divisions. Josh specializes in, American rhythm, American smooth, Latin, Social dances, and Theater Arts. A fun info about Josh; he is Puerto Rican but he doesn’t like spicy food.
Stanislav was born and raised in Ukraine where he started competing in Latin and Standard at a very young age. He specializes in all four styles of ballroom dance and has been teaching children and adults since the age of 14.
A few of his achievements include Champion of Kharkov Championship under21 Latin, Top48 World Championships in Paris in Amateur Latin, Finalist of the IDSA World Championship in Under21 Latin in Minsk and many more top results.
Stanislav enjoys sharing his passion with students of all ages. Stanislav is a true artist in taking a student from scratch and building them to be the best dancer they’re capable of being.
Silviu started dancing in his home country Moldova at the age of 3. He performed and competed regularly as he was growing up. Silviu became European bronze medalist, Russian national formation champion in the formation style as well as champion in multiple other international competitions. Many of his students have also become Moldovan, Romanian and Russian champions.
His love for dance drove him to get a degree in choreography from the University of Culture in Moscow. During his studies he met his dance partner and now wife Yulia Nam, who is also a professional instructor at My Dance Hub.
Yulia Nam has twenty years of ballroom training and over ten years of professional teaching. Throughout her dancing career, she has trained many students who have become winners of Russian and Moldavian Championships. She started dancing Latin and International styles at age 5 in Moscow, Russia. She also studied at the Moscow State Institute of Culture, where she became proficient in folk, modern and ballet dances. Yulia became a Russian national formation champion in the formation style; bronze medalist at the European Championship in Latin; finalist at the Russian Championship in Standard, and winner of many other international competitions.
